Layla Elise Vogl, daughter of Keith and Emily Vogl of Glen Carbon, was baptized Nov. 23 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Peru, by the Rev. Joel Phelps.

Jaxen Joseph Lyons, son of Ryley and Amanda Lyons of Bloomington, was baptized Nov. 24 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Peru, by the Rev. Harold Datzman, O.S.B.

Police Reports
Frankie L. Poe, 51, of 931 Creve Coeur St. La Salle was charged with damage to property at 11:01 p.m. Thursday at 620 10th St., Peru, according to Peru police.

A 15-year-old boy from Spring Valley was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 8:55 p.m. Thursday at Peru Mall, according to Peru police.

Robert F. Wainwright, 41, of 2414 E. 350th Road, Oglesby was charged with driving under the influence, possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance at 4:49 p.m. Nov. 16 at Shooting Park and Mall roads, Peru and was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence after police responded to a disturbance in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot, 1004 Shooting Park Road, Peru police said.

Susan A. Frizol, 42, of 931 Creve Coeur St., La Salle was treated and released from Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru, following injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday on Route 351 at the Illinois and Michigan Canal bridge, La Salle police said. Frizol was charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use, police said.
