DINGES — Brody Dinges and Rocio Figueroa of Mendota, girl, Sept. 4, St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley.
SUDAJ — Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sudaj (Staci Schweickert) of Peru, girl, Aug. 28, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
OLDEEN — Robert Oldeen and Kristina Krafft of Kewanee, girl, Sept. 4, Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.

Police Reports
Anna L. Entwistle, 23, of 102½ 11th St., Peru was charged with driving with a suspended license at 12:41 a.m. Friday at Shooting Park Road and Pine Street, Peru, according to Peru police.

Matthew S. Taliani, 28, of 117 W. Third St., Spring Valley was picked up at 6:17 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence and a civil writ after a traffic stop at U.S. 6 and Pike Street, Peru, according to Peru police.

Jermaine Bray, 31, of 1033 11th St., La Salle was charged with no valid driver’s license, failure to yield and a lane violation at 12:43 a.m. today in the 200 block of Bucklin Street, La Salle police said.

Capt. Robert Atherton, District 07/17 commander, announced the results of an Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement patrol which conducted in La Salle and Bureau counties on Aug. 30, including five speeding tickets, three drug- or alcohol-related citations, one suspended driver’s license charge and four tickets for not using seat belts or car seats.
During an ACE patrol in the same counties Aug. 31, troopers made two drug- or alcohol-related arrests, cited one person for driving with a suspended license and issued six tickets for speeding, eight other tickets and 43 written warnings.

COMPTON — A community alert issued Aug. 23 for a second attempted child abduction from the park in Compton has been cancelled, according to Lt. John Biffany with the Illinois State Police Dist. 1.
The case was investigated and closed with no charges filed.
No other information was available.
