Police Reports
Nicole A. McPhedran, 40, of 627 Sixth St., Peru was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, with at least 0.08 percent blood-alcohol, disobeying a stop sign, improper lane usage and driving in the wrong lane at 4:41 p.m. Sunday on Route 251 near Ben Samek Road, Peru, according to Peru police.

Jorge L. Marcial-Minkis, 27, of 1617 Crosat St. La Salle was picked up on a warrant for failure to appear (Aggravated battery of a pregnant person) at 3:46 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Fifth Street, Peru police said.

Gustavo M. Martinez, 19, of 111 S. 13th Ave., Mendota was charged of possession of a fraudulent identification card (Class 4 felony), illegal consumption of liquor by a minor and disturbing the peace: urinating in public at 12:57 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of First Street, La Salle police said.

Peter Dancy, 39, of 203 Union St., La Salle was charged with violation of bail bond at 1:20 a.m. Saturday at his home, La Salle police said.

Robert H. Atkinson, 45, of 360 Cerulla Circle, Oglesby was charged with intoxicated pedestrian, improper walking on the roadway, obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and open alcohol at 8:52 p.m. Sunday at Ninth and LaHarpe streets, La Salle police said.

Taylor J. Hansen, 18, of 123 S. Kenosha Ave., Oglesby was charged with criminal trespass to state-supported property at 6:03 p.m. Sunday at 901 Grant St., Apt. 65, La Salle police said.

Christopher L. Watson, 38, of 641 W. Walnut St., Lot 35, Oglesby was charged with domestic battery for allegedly choking a woman at 1:07 a.m. today in his residence, Oglesby police said.

Ryan M. Healy, 25, of Wenona was charged with failure to reduce speed to an accident and leaving the scene of a property damage accident after deputies investigated a single-motorcycle accident at 7:42 p.m. Saturday near 212 North 2525th Road near Peru, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

A vehicle driven by Laurie J. Kotecki of Granville struck a deer at 10 p.m. Saturday on Route 351 near Interstate 80, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Elizabeth A. Moncevalles, 41, of Aurora was charged with driving in the wrong lane and driving while license suspended after deputies made a traffic stop at 2:47 a.m. Monday on Route 18 near East 19th Road near Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

A driver, Joseph Capiga, 26, and his passenger, Milo Parchem, 27, both of Hoffman Estates, were injured after Capiga lost control of a car on a curve and it went down an embankment and overturned at 11:45 a.m. Saturday on Route 71 east of E. 950th Road, two miles southeast of Utica, according to Illinois Conservation Police.
The men were taken to a hospital but their conditions were not available.

MENDOTA — Sigifredo O. Chavez, 28, of 1209 Susanna St., Mendota was charged with driving while suspended at 8:34 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Susanna Street, according to Mendota police.
 
PRINCETON — Kortney L. Foster, 26, of Buda was charged with no insurance after a vehicle she was driving collided with a vehicle driven by Roseanna Ferrer, 24, of DePue at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of North Main Street, according to Princeton Police Department.

PRINCETON — Jason J. Fox, 28, of Princeton was charged with for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a vehicle he was driving rear ended a vehicle driven by Melissa Guthrie-Hammes, 40, of Princeton at 12:11 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North Main Street, according to Princeton Police Department.

BUDA — Shawn A. Vaughn, 43, of 122 W. Main St., Buda was picked up on an in-state warrant at 5:54 p.m Thursday at his residence, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

HOLLOWAYVILLE — Phillip J. Watland, 24, of 301 Cleveland St., Apt. 4, Ladd was charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:25 a.m. Friday at U.S. 6 and 2750 East Road, Hollowayville, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

WYANET — Bo W. Jeffery, 19 of 114 W. North St., Wyanet and Mitchell A. Spellious, 18, of 403 S. Arch St., Wyanet were charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment at 8:42 p.m. Saturday at 1400 North Avenue, Wyanet, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

TAMPICO — A 17-year old male was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse at 5 p.m Wednesday, at 2955 North Avenue east of Route 92, Tampico, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
