EARLVILLE — Tanisha N. Peacock, 27, of Chicago was charged with speeding and no valid driver’s license at 7:44 p.m. March 9 following a traffic stop on East 13th and East 1553rd roads, according to Earlville police. Peacock also was picked up on a Peoria County failure-to-appear warrant on a charge of possession of narcotic equipment, police said.
EARLVILLE — Jacob P. Theurer, 18, of Earlville was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for residential burglary at 8:28 p.m. Monday, according to Earlville police.
Shari L. Wasik, 47, of 7901 Independence Drive, Peru was picked up at 11:36 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Shooting Park Road, Peru on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of domestic battery, according to Peru police.
Jeffrey M. Pratt, 55, of 1129 West St., Peru was picked up on a warrant after he was found “passed out” at 5:27 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Third Street, Peru, according to Peru police.
Joslin S. Picatto, 18, of 2858 Route 178, Utica was charged with driving with a suspended license at 3:09 p.m. Thursday at Mall and Shooting Park roads, Peru, according to Peru police.
Megan A. Good, 27, of 9898 E. Mexico Ave., Aurora, Colo., was charged with possession of cannabis at 10:25 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 80, Peru, according to Peru police.
Cody Nichols, 20, of 638 Peru St., Peru was charged with driving under the influence, driving while texting, leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance at 6:41 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Chartres Street, La Salle police said.
Melvin Townsel, 27, of 942 Sixth St., La Salle was charged with obstructing a peace officer and picked up at 12:30 a.m. today in his residence on a parole violation, La Salle police said.
Townsel was charged after he fled police on foot following an inquiry at Fourth and Pine streets in Peru. La Salle and Peru police, assisted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service, later apprehended him at his residence. The Illinois Department of Corrections shows Townsel was paroled in July after serving part of a 7-year sentence for armed robbery out of Cook County.
Phillip C. Barroso, 36, of 305 Newell St., DePue was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) Wednesday at an unspecified location in Spring Valley, the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team said in a press release issued Thursday.
Barroso was charged after he allegedly delivered purported cocaine to a cooperating source working with TRI-DENT, police said.
The charge is a Class 1 felony carrying 4-15 years in prison.
Jeremy Klene, 25, of 1605 Chestnut St., Ottawa was charged with driving while suspended today on Route 23 at Kain Street, Ottawa police said.
