Police Reports
Joyce Cruz, 50, of 1040 Second St., Apt. 204, La Salle was charged with disturbing the peace at 1:53 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Third Street, according to La Salle police.

Timothy Garncarz, 25, of 638 Gooding St., La Salle was charged with disturbing the peace at 2:40 a.m. Saturday in his residence, according to La Salle police.

Paul Okeke, 37, of 1125 15th St., La Salle was charged with driving while license suspended, failure to signal when required and improper lane usage at 8:42 p.m. Friday on Route 351 at N. 2979th Road, according to La Salle police.

Daniel A. Lisitsin, 26, of 28 Union St., Apt. 1, Westfield, Mass., was charged with retail theft at 6:33 p.m. Friday at WalMart, according to Peru police.

Ricky Jenkins, 53, of 2402 Marquette Road, Peru and Deborah L. Gorisek¸ 46, of 859 Joliet St., La Salle were both charged with domestic battery, resisting a police officer and obstructing a police officer at 10:22 p.m. Friday in Jenkins’ residence, according to Peru police. Gorisek also was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Police Reports
Caleb J. Barron, 19, of 1909 Second St., Peru was charged with possession of cannabis at 8:28 p.m. Friday at Route 251 and Ben Samek Road, according to Peru police.

Jonathon L. Monferdini, 36, of Streator was charged with suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal when required Saturday at Guion and E. Joliet streets, according to Ottawa police.

Michael John Lazar, 24, of 1014 Catalpa St., Marseilles was charged with criminal damage to property Saturday at 421 W. McKinley Road, according to Ottawa police.

Calvin L. Bennett, 28, of 919 Pine St., Apt. 2, Ottawa was picked up Saturday in his residence on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for violation of an order of protection, according to Ottawa police.

Michael S. Wilson, 41, of 112 Belle Prairie St., Cropsey was charged with driving while license suspended, operation of a vehicle with suspended registration, illegal transportation of alcohol and expired registration Sunday on Interstate 80 at route 23, according to Ottawa police.

A 16-year-old boy from Peru was charged with retail theft at 4:08 p.m. Saturday at Beck Oil, 703 Shooting Park Road, Peru, according to Peru police.


Caitlin R. King, 23, of New York was charged with disorderly conduct at 7:28 p.m. Friday in Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, Princeton police said.
