Daniel A. Lisitsin, 26, of 28 Union St., Westfield, Mass., was charged with retail theft at Walmart in Peru at 6:33 p.m. Friday, Peru police said.
Alejandro Martinez, 32, of 202 S. Iowa St., Ladd was charged with driving while license revoked and failure to signal when required after a traffic stop at 1:03 p.m. on Feb. 22 in the 800 block of Sixth Street, Peru. Martinez was additional charged with a city ordinance violation of unlawful possession of cannabis, La Salle police said.
A 16-year-old male of La Salle was charged with driving while license suspended, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage at 3:37 p.m. Friday on Route 351 just south of Shippingsport Bridge, La Salle, La Salle police said.
Stephanie E. Hebel, 23, of 213 Abens Ave., Henry was charged with disobeying traffic control signal, driving while license suspended and unlawful use of license at 4:22 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of East Dakota Street, Spring Valley, Spring Valley police said.
Blake A Lunn, 17, of 117 Romines Circle, Dalzell was charged with driving in the wrong lane and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his vehicle struck a tree at 927 West Dakota St., Spring Valley at 9:07 p.m. Thursday, according to Spring Valley police. Lunn reportedly told police he became distracted while handing a bag of popcorn to a 14-year-old passenger and then struck the tree. Only Lunn was taken to St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley and was treated and released, Spring Valley police said.
WALNUT — John M. Ptasnik, 19, 307 Heaton St., Walnut was injured in an accident at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday one mile north of 2500 North Avenue, southwest of Walnut when he lost control of his vehicle and it entered the ditch. Details of his injuries were not provided, said Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
