Police reports
Roberto Perez, 33, of 315 Oak St., DePue was charged with no rear registration plate light and no valid license following a traffic stop at 7:27 p.m. Thursday on Route 29 at Verde Ranch Road, Spring Valley police said.

Jeremy D. Motes, 25, of 500½ West Dakota St., Spring Valley was charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly displayed a knife and threatened another male during an altercation at 1:25 p.m.  Wednesday at his residence, Spring Valley police said.

Marston A. Persich, 21, of 128 East Fourth St., Spring Valley turned himself in on a warrant out of Bureau County for failure to appear (no valid driver’s license) at 10:54 a.m. Thursday at the Spring Valley Police Department, Spring Valley police said.

Sylvia G. Burress, 45, of 909½ Illinois Ave., Mendota was charged with retail theft at 4:47 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Rachel A. Burress, 27, of 909½ Illinois Ave., Mendota was charged with retail theft at 4:47 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, Peru police said.

MENDOTA — Gloria Toledo, 26, of 100 S. First Ave., Lot 25, Mendota was charged with no valid driver’s license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and following too closely at 6:15 a.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on North 40th Road just east of Route 251, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Jeffrey A. Andrew, 25, of 3068 Winchester Court, Aurora was charged with possession of cannabis at 8:30 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop in the 900 block of First Avenue, according to Mendota police.
