Nathan P. Uzella, 31, of Granville was picked up Saturday on a Putnam County warrant charging him with unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession and delivery of cannabis following an investigation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, TRI-DENT said in a press release issued Wednesday.

Timothy J. Atherton, 44, of La Salle was picked up Sunday on a Putnam County warrant charging him with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver following an investigation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, TRI-DENT said in a press release issued Wednesday.

Brady E. Giovanine, 19, of 2881 E. 756th Road, Utica was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content over .08, unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, improper lane use and failure to signal when required at 4:16 a.m. today at Mary Senica Avenue at U.S. 6, La Salle police said.

Anthony R. Moreno, 52, of 727 Sterling St., La Salle was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and failure to signal when required at 2:05 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of LaHarpe Street, La Salle police said.
Adam J.M. Schaub, 21, of 2121 10th St., Peru was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and defective exhaust at 1:16 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Creve Coeur Street, La Salle police said. A passenger in his vehicle, 20-year-old Connor P. McNamara of 108 Cedar Creek Ave., Oglesby was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Deborah J. Drummond, 51, of 3122 W. North A St., Tampa, Fla., was picked up at 9:26 p.m. Wednesday at 11th and LaHarpe streets on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear, La Salle police said.

Rodney J. Barsztaitis, 58, of 1850 N. 2753rd Road, Ottawa was charged with open alcohol in public Thursday in the 200 block of West Madison Street, Ottawa police said.

Stacie Gomez, 28, of Ottawa was charged with driving while suspended, speeding and no insurance Thursday in Ottawa in the Jordan Block parking area, Ottawa police said.

Victor A. Netter, 43, of 10713 S. Morgan St., Chicago was charged with driving while suspended, no insurance and suspended registration Thursday at Columbus and Nebraska streets, Ottawa police said.

Tammy L. Johnston, 44, of Ottawa was charged with domestic battery at 10:25 p.m. Thursday at 1717 N. 2479th Road, Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

MENDOTA — Rigoberto Arteaga, 30, of 1406 Guiles Ave., Mendota was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for domestic battery at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday while in the 2000 block of Guiles Avenue, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Matthew J. Sanders, 27, of 411½ 11th Ave., Mendota was charged with disorderly conduct at approximately 11 p.m. Wednesday after officers received earlier complaints of disorderly males at 716 Main St., Mendota, according to Mendota police. Officers were first called to the address at 8:49 p.m., but the males had already left. They were called back at 11 p.m. when a male refused to leave. Sanders was subsequently located at 812 Main St., according to the report.

Fog-related crashes Wednesday morning were not limited to the six accidents involving 14 vehicles that injured at least two motorists on Interstate 80 in the Ottawa area.
La Salle County issued reports Thanksgiving morning on two accidents in the country Wednesday morning that were fog-related — one at East 12th  and North 38th  roads in Ophir Township and another at North 35th  and East 2075th roads in Dayton Township. Neither led to tickets or injuries.
