Police Reports
Brenda L. Pelsynski, 37, of 306 Oak Park Drive, Granville, was charged with criminal damage to property at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, after she allegedly damaged a vehicle belonging to another person, according to Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.

Thomas A. Hodgson, 20, of 2311 Tee Garen Road, Streator was charged with theft Friday following an investigation by Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, La Salle Police Department and Oglesby Police Department. Hodgson allegedly took aluminum in early September from a business in rural Hennepin, according to Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.

Ian C. Mahmudi, 26, of 1901 12th St., Peru was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and less than 10 grams of cannabis at 2:05 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of McDonald’s north, Peru, according to Peru police.

Christopher M. Evans, 28, of 625 e .Erie St., Spring Valley, was charged with a city ordinance violation (failure to purchase a city dog tag) at 1:24 p.m. Saturday at his residence, according to a Spring Valley police report.

Jessica L. Laicoff, 43, of 329 E. First St., Spring Valley, was charged with city ordinance violation (dog running at large) at 4:57 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Cornelia Street, Spring Valley, according to a Spring Valley police report.

MENDOTA — Wesley J. Shaver, 25, of 904 Washington St., Mendota was picked up on a Kendall County failure-to-appear warrant on a charge of driving while license suspended at 8 p.m. Monday after officers observed him in the 900 block of Washington Street, according to Mendota police.

Kandy L. Gunier, 33, of Sheridan was charged with criminal damage to state-supported property after kicking out a squad car window at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday at 4181 E. 2603rd Road, north of Sheridan, according to a La Salle County Sheriff’s office report.

BUDA — Jonathan D. Davila, 25, of 2121 W. Main St., Mesa, Ariz., was charged with retail theft and disobeying a no passing zone at 7:38 p.m. Monday at Casey’s, Buda, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

NEPONSET — A vehicle driven by Kathie S. Spreitzer of 11428 105 East St., Neponset struck a deer at 8:16 a.m. Monday north of Neponset on 1300 North Avenue about one mile west of 350 East Street, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

BUDA — A vehicle driven by Charlene M. O’Connor of 2206 E. Seventh St., Sterling struck a deer at 10:45 p.m. Saturday north of Buda on Route 40 about one mile south of U.S. 6, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.
