Dorrie Ann Pearson, 54, of Freeport died Oct. 31, 2013, in her home. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church, Forreston. Cremation rites will be accorded. Walker Mortuary, Freeport is assisting the family with arrangements. She was born April 21, 1959, in Ottawa to Herb Comer and Sheila Sarver. She married Greg A. Pearson on April 22, 1978. She owned and operated Pearson’s Penny Pincher in downtown Freeport She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Brandy (Jeff) Brown of Forreston and Mischelle Pearson of Freeport; one son, Gregory Pearson of Forreston; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A memorial has been established in her name.
