Dale T. Croisant, 76, of Hollowayville died at home on the farm on March 23, 2013, after an extended illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollowayville United Church of Christ, with the Rev Michael Slutz officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery, with military services conducted by Ladd American Legion.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday in Hurst Funeral Home, Ladd, and at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church until time of services.
Mr. Croisant was born March 8, 1937, in Spring Valley to Theodore and Luella (Helm) Croisant. He married Suzanne Glover in Friends Meeting House in McNabb on Dec. 9, 1962.
He served with the U.S. Army 1962-65 and then served with the National Guard.
Mr. Croisant was a member of Hollowayville United Church of Christ, was active in many church activities, including serving on the church board. He was a member of Green River Saddle and Tri-City Saddle Clubs. He enjoyed horseback riding and life on the farm.
Mr. Croisant is survived by two sons, John (Barb) Croisant and Gene (Dawn) Croisant, both of rural Princeton; three daughters, Sheri (Butch) Sterling of Hollowayville, Lorri (Layne) Kierski of rural Princeton and Julie (Matt) McDonald of Ladd; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Aug. 30, 2007.
Pallbearers will be Tony Pavinato, Leon Genzlinger, Syd Glover, Don Schlund, Bill Linker, Jack Koch, Darryl Mitchell and Lloyd Lehn.
