Sharon A. Pry, 61, of Sublette died Feb. 23, 2013, in her residence.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Sublette, with the Rev. Max Lasrado officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sublette. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Visitation is one hour prior to services Friday in the church. Schwarz Funeral Home, Mendota provided the arrangements.
She was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Mendota to Floyd “Tug” and Sally (Becker) Pry.
She attended Amboy High School, graduating in 1970. She worked at Heico and Del Monte in assembly.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, where she was the organist and member of the choir. She belonged to Sublette Country Squares for 15 years entertaining groups during community events and at nursing homes. She also raised awareness of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and raised funds.
She is survived by her mother, Sally Pry of Sublette; one sister, Ruth Ann Payne of Schaumburg; one brother, Stan (Darlene) Pry of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two nieces; one nephew; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father on July 31, 1997; and one brother-in-law, Jim Payne in 2007.
