Hattie M. Pyszka, 101, of La Salle passed away at 11:44 p.m. Jan. 25, 2013, in Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru, surrounded by her family

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, La Salle, with the Rev. Paul Carlson officiating. Burial will be at St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday in the church. Burgess Funeral Home, La Salle, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Peru to Roman and Antonina (Popielarz) Andrzejewski. She married Henry Pyszka on June 1, 1935, in St. Valentine Church, Peru.

She was employed at Westclox for a number of years. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church.

She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many friends in the area with whom she socialized frequently.

Survivors are two sons, Ronald (Gloria) Pyszka of Palo Alto, Calif., and Robert (Marilyn) Pyszka of La Salle; three grandchildren, Noelle Weyer, Michael and Matthew Pyszka; and six great-grandchildren, Alex, Natalie and Kathryn Weyer and Caden, Chase and Isabella Pyszka.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997, four sisters and two brothers.
Memorials may be directed to the family for her favorite charities.
