Bernice J. (Grudis) Clark, 93, of Peru passed away the evening of Jan. 5, 2013, in Heritage Manor, Peru.
Private graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Valley Memorial Park, Spring Valley. Arrangements are by Mueller Funeral Home in Peru.
She was born June 3, 1919, in Spring Valley to Joseph and Susanna (Dochkus) Grudis. She married Darwin Clark on Aug. 30, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Hall High School. She farmed with her husband until their retirement when they moved to Peru.
She was a homemaker and worked as a custodian for Dimmick Schools. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Peru, and served as a La Salle County election judge for many years.
Survivors are one son, Norm (Rose Marie Lynch) Clark of Peru; two grandchildren, Bradley Clark and Scott Clark; great-grandchildren; one niece; and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 9, 1994; her parents and three sisters.
Memorials may be directed to family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
