Hall students create storybooks for Guatemalan children
Hall High School’s Spanish 4 class wrote original children’s storybooks for impoverished children in Guatemala.

The books will travel to Guatemala with professor Mayra Daniel of Northern Illinois University this winter. The
students created the stories and used the school computer lab to type, illustrate and edit their books in Spanish.

Spanish teacher Donna Albrecht created the project in 2008 and her Spanish 4 class has written books for Guatemalan children every year since then.
