Police Reports
Annette Jones, 53, of 1 Ponsetti Drive, Apt. A1, Spring Valley was charged with criminal trespass to state-supported property at 10:17 a.m. Monday at 1020 Second St., according to La Salle police.

Brian W. Cain, 37, of 675 W. 16th Road, Lostant was charged with possession of cannabis at 11:21 p.m. Monday after a traffic stop at Route 251 and 38th Street, Peru, according to Peru police.

Sherri L. Youssi, 25, of 1830 Fourth St., Peru was charged with driving with a suspended license and no insurance at 1 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Fourth Street, Peru, according to Peru police.

LAMOILLE — A vehicle driven by Ryan J. Rosenthal of 102 Clark St., Walnut struck a deer at 11:20 p.m. Friday on Route 92 near 2900 East Street west of LaMoille, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

PRINCETON — A vehicle driven by Timothy J. Paxton of 7700 Possum Trot Road, Kewanee struck a deer at 6:19 a.m. Monday on U.S. 34 near U.S. 6 in Princeton, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

PRINCETON — A vehicle driven by Jeremiah C. Moore of 7685 1900 East Street, Tiskilwa struck a deer at 7:50 a.m. Friday on 1950 East Street near 1250 North Avenue south of Princeton, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

PRINCETON — Frances Bowman, 16, of 23183 1480 North Ave., Princeton was transported to Perry Memorial Hospital after a one-vehicle accident that occurred at 2:31 a.m. Sunday on Tiskilwa Bottom Road near 2050 East Street, south of Princeton, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said. According to the report, Bowman’s vehicle was traveling east on Tiskilwa Bottom Road when the tires went off the right side of the road. Bowman attempted to steer back on the roadway and over-corrected and the vehicle entered the ditch on the right side. The vehicle rolled 1½ times before coming to a rest on the driver’s side.

MENDOTA — Kevin D. Clark, 31, of 136 N. Third St., Compton was picked up on an outstanding Lee County warrant for domestic battery at 11:34 a.m. Saturday during a traffic stop at Plaza and Schwan drives, according to Mendota police. He also was charged with possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

MENDOTA — Brennan R. Cassidy, 18, of 728½ Main St., Mendota was picked up on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for a charge of forgery at 3:05 p.m. Saturday, according to Mendota police. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and while at the same location, Jose A. Mandujano, 23, of 906 Michigan Ave., Mendota was picked up on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for possession of cannabis, police said.
MENDOTA — A 17-year-old female was charged with no valid driver’s license at 4:50 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 13th Avenue, according to Mendota police. Christina A. Eden, 18, of 708 Fourth Ave., Mendota also was picked up on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant on a charge of speeding, police said.

MENDOTA — Stuart Pohar, 23, of La Salle was charged with criminal damage to property at 12:57 a.m. Saturday after officers were called to the 700 block of Main Street for a broken window at Main Street Station, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Antonio R. Gomez, 41, of 812 Main St., Mendota and Todd J. Stallings, 32, of 605 First St., Mendota were charged with criminal damage at 10:41 p.m. Friday after officers responded to a report of a broken window at Haines Antiques in the 700 block of Jefferson Street, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Rachel N. Kaufman, 32, of 1206 First Ave., Mendota was picked up on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant on a charge of aggravated assault to a peace officer at 8:08 a.m. Friday, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Derek A. Hensley, 20, of 409 Third Ave., Mendota was charged with retail theft at 6 p.m. Thursday after officers were called to Sullivan’s Foods, 1102 Meriden St., Mendota, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Kenzie D. Bortyon, 21, of Earlville was charged with disobeying a stop sign, uninsured motor vehicle and obstructed windshield at 1:55 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to an accident at Sixth Avenue and Eighth Street, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Antwan T. Enoch, 33, of 137 U.S. 34, Apt. 9, Mendota was picked up at 5:26 p.m. Sunday while at 212 15th St., Mendota on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for an animal complaint, according to Mendota police.
