Police Reports
Louise A. Frickey, 76, of 406 Meadow Lane, Streator was charged with retail theft (felony) at 3:28 p.m. Saturday at Target, Peru after she allegedly pushed a cart of unpaid merchandise out the door, according to Peru police.

Andrew S. Walker, 28, of 351 E. Walnut St., Oglesby was charged with violating an order for protection at 6:18 p.m. Saturday at the Peru police station, according to Peru police.

Chad N. Pattelli, 32, of 10 13th St., Peru was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving while license suspended and disobeying a stop sign at 2:11 p.m. Tuesday at Ninth and Chartres streets, La Salle. Pattelli also was picked up on an Illinois Department of Corrections parole violation warrant, according to police.

Three girls and two boys, ages 14-16, all of La Salle, were charged with retail theft at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dollar General, 535 Third St., according to La Salle police.

Antonio Rosales, 33, of 617 S. Park Blvd., Granville was charged with driving while suspended, failure to yield a stop-yield intersection, loud/defective exhaust and disobeying a stop sign 5:52 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Power Street, Spring Valley police said.

A 14-year-old Spring Valley girl was charged with domestic battery at 1:37 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the 200 block of East Erie Street, Spring Valley police said.

Tara J. Morgan¸ 24, of Streator was charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:22 a.m. Saturday on Route 18 in Streator, according to La Salle County deputies.

Hector R. Santiago, 26, of 19634 U.S. 34, Princeton was charged with trespassing at 7:52 p.m. Friday at 2928 Chartres St., according to La Salle police.

Cynthia Delgado¸18, of 636 Hennepin St., La Salle was charged with no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a stop sign at 9:12 p.m. Friday in the 10 block of Ninth Street, according to La Salle police.

Caleb L. Franklin, 20, of 7606 Miracle Road, Indianapolis, Ind., was charged with driving while license suspended, disobeying a stop sign and disobeying a traffic control signal legend at 12:02 a..m Saturday on Route 351 at Civic Road, according to La Salle police.

Jorge Valdez, 34, of 320 Palmor Drive, Ottawa was charged with driving while suspended and plates suspended for non-insurance Friday at Columbus and Van Buren streets, Ottawa police said.

Sofia Rudka, 53, of 2330 E. 14th Road, Ottawa was charged with no valid driver’s license and suspended registration Friday at La Salle Street and Lincoln Place, Ottawa police said.

Brian D. Slover, 43, of 2612 Mara Drive, Ottawa was charged with driving under the influence and improper parking in the roadway Saturday at La Salle and Joliet streets, Ottawa police said.

Ryan J. Shain, 31, of 410 Nicholson St., Joliet was charged with driving under the influence and speeding Saturday in the 400 block of East Norris Drive, Ottawa police said.

A 15-year-old Ottawa girl was charged with domestic battery at an unspecified location, Ottawa police said.

Jessica L. Gottberg, 24, of 1517 Pine St., Ottawa (also listed as a resident of Sheridan) was picked up Saturday at Pine and Joliet streets on DeKalb and La Salle county warrants for failure to appear (obstructing and a conservation offense, respectively), Ottawa police said.

Nicholas J. Zaleski, 31, of 113 Tammy Lane, Somonauk was charged with criminal trespass to a motor vehicle Saturday at 1500 Columbus St., Ottawa police said.

Tommy Lee Shorkey, 29, of 222 W. Campbell St., Ottawa was charged with aggravated fleeing, no insurance, defective windshield, disobeying a stop sign and disobeying a traffic-control device (red light) Saturday at State and West Van Buren streets, Ottawa police said.

Daniel L. Tieman, 28, of 1110 Pine St., Ottawa was charged with no insurance and picked up Sunday at East Superior and Calumet streets on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (DUI), Ottawa police said.

Cody B. Suits, 22, of Marseilles was charged with domestic battery and battery after deputies responded to an incident at 10:58 p.m. Saturday at 3042 Route 71 in Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

TISKILWA — Sandra K. Sissel of 310 Adams St., Tiskilwa struck a deer at 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Tiskilwa Spur Road near 1150 North Avenue north of Tiskilwa, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

PRINCETON — Daniel L. Coon Jr., 23, of 1923 1835 East Street, Princeton was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for body attachment at 10:06 p.m. Sunday on 1650 North Avenue near 2400 East Street east of Princeton, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

STREATOR — Troy A. Rodrick, 18, of 710 E. Livingston Road, Streator was charged with disobeying a railroad signal at 11:51 p.m. Saturday, according to Streator police.
