Police Reports
Noah J. Sanders, 22, of 210 S. King St., Wyanet was charged with felony unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver Oct. 30 in his residence, the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team (TRI-DENT) said in a press release issued Monday.
Sanders was charged following an investigation and search warrant of his residence that yielded purported cannabis and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The charge is a Class 4 felony carrying 1-3 years in prison.
During the same search warrant, 51-year-old Ann M. Sanders, also of 210 S. King St., Wyanet, was charged with misdemeanor possession of cannabis, police said.
Wyanet Police Department assisted TRI-DENT.

Two Ottawa female juveniles and two Ottawa male juveniles were charged with trespassing Monday at Rigden Park, Ottawa police said. A Peru male juvenile was charged with criminal damage to property and trespassing at the same time and location, police said.

Aaron C. Haskins¸ 37, of 1020 Second St., No. 411, La Salle was picked up at 2:38 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of First Street, La Salle on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for disorderly conduct, according to La Salle police. Haskins also was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, according to police.

Jose A. Hernandez, 38, of 219 E. Dakota St., Spring Valley was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, failure to wear a seat belt and operating an uninsured vehicle after the vehicle he was driving struck a parked car at 12:14 a.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of Fourth Street, Peru, according to Peru police.

Jessica V. Coon¸19, of 1056 Fifth St., La Salle turned herself in at 2:23 p.m. Monday in the La Salle Police station on a La Salle County warrant for unlawful use of a credit card (Class 4 felony), according to La Salle police.

Cora L. Parker, 30, of 201 E. Third St., Apt. 63, Spring Valley was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 8:51 a.m. Monday in the north alley of the 100 block of West St. Paul Street, 50 feet west of Spalding Street, according to a Spring Valley police report. Parker backed her car out from a parking space, striking an eastbound car driven by Karina E. Aldana of 504 E. Third St., Spring Valley, according to the report.

Jessie S. Tyre, 25, of 230½ W. St. Paul St., Spring Valley was charged with criminal damage to property at 12:25 p.m. Sunday after he allegedly burned a photo album of another person, according to a Spring Valley police report.

MENDOTA — Joseph D. Kirk, 30, of Streator was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for obstructing at 1:47 p.m. Saturday while in the 1200 block of Meriden Street, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Zebbie J. Taylor, 21, of Peru was charged with no front registration plate and driving while suspended and had a warrant from Bureau County for unlawful possession of cannabis at 9:37 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop in the 200 block of 12th Street, according to Mendota police. Also charged was Matthew J. Nowatka, 20, of Peru, with possession of alcoholic liquor by a minor, police reported.

Nicholas R. Engel, 68, of 626 W. Madison St., Apt. 4, Ottawa was charged with unlawful possession of open alcohol Friday in the 600 block of West Madison Street, Ottawa police said.

Alec J. Goetsch, 18, of 1223 Adams St., Apt. E, Ottawa was charged with no valid driver’s license and speeding Saturday on Route 71 at 4-H Road, Ottawa police said.

Shawn M. Muncy, 39, of Ottawa (also listed in Vidor, Texas) was picked up Saturday in the 1600 block of Chestnut Street on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (battery), Ottawa police said.

Cara L. Stricklin, 26, of 1023 Canal St., Ottawa was charged with failure to yield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after deputies made a traffic stop Sunday on U.S. 6 and Boyce Memorial Drive in Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Mark D. Haddock, 23, of 496 Erma Drive, Somonauk was charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a traffic control device, improper turn signal and driving with blood-alcohol content of .08 after deputies made a traffic stop at 3:38 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 6 in Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Sharon M. Levy, 52, of 2160 Somerset Drive, Ottawa was charged with following too closely, improper lane usage and driving under the influence after deputies made a traffic stop at 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Route 23 and North 17th Roads near Streator, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

MANLIUS — Adam S. Sanden, 20, of 10109 2125 North Ave., Manlius was charged with disorderly conduct at 4:07 p.m. Friday at 211 S. Fourth St., Manlius, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

BRADFORD — Kelly P. Ramsey, 45, of 1721 N. Albany St., Springfield was picked up at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at 585 1425 East Street, Bradford on three warrants, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said. According to the report, Ramsey was wanted for traffic offenses in LaSalle and Menard counties and resisting an officer in Henry County.

DIXON — Marcus Edward Gonzalez, 22, of 316 W. Chestnut, Compton was charged with criminal trespass to real property at 5:27 a.m. Sunday, according to Lee County Sheriff’s department.

DIXON — Brady Edward Furar, 25, of 28144 3360 E St., LaMoille was charged with possession of cannabis at 7:42 p.m. Friday, according to Lee County Sheriff’s department.

WALNUT — Rosemary Rohrbacher, 50, of 2977 Route 92, Tampico was charged with battery at 7:36 p.m. Monday at 2667 Route 92 west of Walnut, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

NEPONSET — James Kida Jr., 20, of 307 Rice St., Kewanee was charged with hunting by aid or use of conveyance at 9 a.m. Monday at 2934 1300 North Ave. in Neponset, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies say he was hunting from a vehicle.

BUREAU — A vehicle driven by Alicia M. Cole of 415 W. Farnham St., Sheffield stuck a deer at 11:23 a.m. Monday on Route 26 near 2450 East Street west of Bureau, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

PRINCETON — A vehicle driven by Marc V. Basile of 720 Easy Road, Ohio struck a deer at 6:46 p.m. Sunday on Route 26 near 1925 North Avenue north of Princeton, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

WYANET — A vehicle driven by Jeff G. Shaner of 943 Hawkinson Ave., Galesburg struck a deer at 10:45 pm. Sunday on 1500 North Avenue near 1200 East west of Wyanet, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.
 
TISKILWA — A vehicle driven by Lori S. Nora of 220 N. Galena St., Tiskilwa struck a deer at 8 a.m. Thursday on Tiskilwa Bottom Road near 2050 East Street east of Tiskilwa, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.

BUREAU — A vehicle driven by Kelly R. Goetz of 305 S. Elm St., Granville struck a deer at 6:20 a.m. Friday on Interstate 180 near Route 29 south of Bureau, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.
 
BUREAU — A vehicle driven by Michael W. Jones of 424 E. Atkinson St., Sheffield struck a deer at 7 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 180 near Kentville Road south of Bureau, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office said.
