LEMUS — Nicholas I. Lemus and Jessica M. Frazier of La Salle, boy, Oct. 17, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.

Baptism
Levi James Locke, son of Wendy and Jason Locke of Chicago, was baptized Oct. 7 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, La Salle, by the Rev. Paul Carlson. Sponsors were Scott Grabowski and Mandy Clemans.

Police Reports
Jacob E. Schmillen, 25, of 1623 Clayton St., Bloomington was charged with driving while suspended, failure to stop when required and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 10:33 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Crosat Street, according to La Salle police.

Alana K. Briddick, 27, of 304 W. Florence St., Oglesby turned herself in to Oglesby police at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday on an original La Salle County warrant charging her with forgery, Oglesby police said.

Tristan LeCue Finley, 25, of 539 E. Main St., Ottawa was picked up Tuesday at 301 W. Lafayette St., Ottawa, on a La Salle County warrant for unlawful use of a credit/debit card, according to Ottawa police.

Arthur Edward Cook, 40, of 8624 S. Paulina St., Chicago was charged with a city ordinance violation for no lamps on bicycle on Tuesday at Columbus and Fremont streets, according to Ottawa police.

James M. Kalita, 54, of 1920 Seventh St., Peru was charged with public indecency at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday at Menards, Peru after an investigation into a lewd act, according to Peru police.
Annette M. Essman, 21, of 1312 N. Park St., Streator was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, improper parking on roadway, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams) after deputies found Essman’s vehicle unlawfully parked on Park and Joyce streets in Streator with her passed out in her vehicle at 2:53 a.m. Wednesday, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Cory C. Bolen, 22, of 1820 N. 41st Road, Leland was charged with driving under the influence, following too closely and speeding after deputies made a traffic stop at 1:14 a.m. Thursday on Route 71 and East 25th Road near Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. A 17-year-old juvenile passenger was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
