Arthur Edward Cook, 40, of 8624 S. Paulina St., Chicago was charged with a city ordinance violation for no lamps on bicycle on Tuesday at Columbus and Fremont streets, according to Ottawa police.
James M. Kalita, 54, of 1920 Seventh St., Peru was charged with public indecency at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday at Menards, Peru after an investigation into a lewd act, according to Peru police.
Annette M. Essman, 21, of 1312 N. Park St., Streator was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, improper parking on roadway, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams) after deputies found Essman’s vehicle unlawfully parked on Park and Joyce streets in Streator with her passed out in her vehicle at 2:53 a.m. Wednesday, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
Cory C. Bolen, 22, of 1820 N. 41st Road, Leland was charged with driving under the influence, following too closely and speeding after deputies made a traffic stop at 1:14 a.m. Thursday on Route 71 and East 25th Road near Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. A 17-year-old juvenile passenger was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
